Wind charger Mariner's Package
The ideal way to cost effectively recharge batteries on board your
boat while preserving the environment! Aerodynamic and efficient,
the 913 Wind charger needs only a wind speed of 5 knots to start
trickle charging, 10 knots for a 2 amp output, 20 knots for 7.5 amps
with a potential output of 300 watts. A thermostat inside the stator
protects the charger in extreme weather—if the internal wiring
reached 140°F, the thermostat opens the freewheels while the wiring
cools back down to about 70°F, then reconnects for continued
charging. Constructed of aluminum, fiberglass, polycarbonate and
stainless-steel, it's built to last in the marine
environment.
